I've been a follower of the LHP since my mid-twenties starting off with Anton LaVey's Satanic Bible discussing the power of the individual mind, being honest with yourself, and a brief history of Christianity and how the devil cannot be separated from that being 'good is what you like and evil is what you don't like. Despite how much I enjoyed the book it lacked the spiritual side of life since it's more about atheism and using dark imagery. Then I came across a term known as Luciferian (I'm aware of the different sects of that path) I found Micheal W Ford's work to be ingenious as he says atheists, agnostics, and theists can benefit from the practice. Starting with the Wisdom of Eosphorous it has opened up my mind to personal power, balance, the reality of nature, and the benefit of magick. So far, I've read a variety of LHP books and sites the philosophies of being your own 'god' and trusting oneself resonated with me without the guilt-tripping concepts of performing black magick.
I have followed the vampire path and even listened to the vampire soul transformation and it really has done a lot for my life. I do feel more energetic, powerful, and alive. I think I'm more of a psychic one since I have meditated for a while getting to the part where I can see visuals (astral plane or subconscious) in my head that feels real once I reach past 44 minutes. I suppose besides the obvious reason I'm writing this is to find other practitioners to talk with about their experiences. I'm a solo practitioner, and it can get lonely at times especially with some people may view LHP as 'evil' due to their beliefs.
Me too
That's very wise. I think when I slowed down and took my time everything started to make sense.
There's an old Taoist saying that applies to any endeavor especially for those of us who dare to tread on the Sinister path.
"When the student is ready the master will appear"
I've been in league with the Devil most of my adult life as both as an initiate and currently practicing solo. And it does get lonesome at times and am glad I found Satania Cult and this forum.
